Woodworking
Woodworking and summertime
Oak Rings - new tables from Dan Kistler.
This summer I have been busy building some smaller tables in a style I am calling Oak Rings. I start with oak branches or small dead oak trees found on my property. I slice these into 1 inch thick slices and let dry for months. I glue these down to a solid piece of wood and fill with saw dust and glue. A very sustainable use of wood from my woods. So far I have two models to choose from and will be coming out with more models in the future.
I am posting a few shots of the Model 1 table and will post shots of the Model 2 soon. I will also be posting drawings of the tables with sizes and prices.
I am willing to take on orders for custom size tables.
